I know, I know – I am way behind on my blogging. You should see my personal blog right now…tumbleweeds are rolling through that one! 
As you all may know school started here in our area last week, and some of you may also know that my oldest boy started kindergarten this year. *sigh* It has definitely been harder on me than him. Soooooo, I lost about a week of editing and blogging in all the mess that happened last week. Getting used to getting up before 7 (seriously??) and having to actually get out of my pj’s and look somewhat presentable at drop-off has been quite the chore. I have been spoiled by staying home with my boys for the past 6 years. I have a feeling though that come winter time I will just be throwing a jacket over my pj’s like the rest of the moms and taking him to school with the mom pony tail and dark shades. Oh yeah, you know you all do it!
But enough about me, let’s talk about my girl Savannah. Oh Savannah! I love saying her name – it’s so pretty! Just like her…
I actually looked up the origin and meaning of her name, thinking I could tie it into a sweet little story, but Savannah means, well, Savannah! A Savannah is a treeless plain or a plateau. However, it is also the name of a large city in Georgia and a breed of cat. So, since I can’t think of anything more to say about that, I will tell you a little about her. Savannah is, obviously, gorgeous! And the camera loves her. 
Savannah is one of my awesome Senior Models for the class of 2011. I am so excited about doing her big sessions this fall. She totally rocked the head shot session, as you can see. 
And very soon I will be taking her out to an awesome location (or 2) for her full session. I look forward to learning even more about her, and sharing it with you as well. 
I ordered Savannah’s rep cards this week. I think they turned out great! Here is the front and back.

I know, it’s only August, but school is starting in less than 2 weeks and you know how quickly things fly after that. Before you know it we’ll be picking out Halloween costumes and cooking a turkey for Thanksgiving. Then you’ll turn around and December will be staring you in the face.
