Morgan {Dawn Fry Photo} Georgetown High School Drum Major

On another super hot day in August, I had the pleasure of photographing Georgetown High School drum major and Elite DFP Spokesmodel, Morgan S. Morgan is a natural beauty and thanks to her marching band training, handled the sweltering heat better than anyone! We started her senior session downtown, to show off her edgy side.

This girl is coooool as a cucumber!

After working our way up and down Congress and the numbered streets, we headed back to Georgetown for a total switch from urban photos to soft, nature images. Morgan planned the perfect outfits for this location, and also chose to bring her letterman jacket and flute to capture her interests and personality.

My favorite part of her session was when her family brought out the family dogs! Getting all three to look in the right place at the right time was difficult, but eventually it all worked out.

I absolutely ADORE the matching bandanas!! With the dogs successfully photographed, we let them run and play in the water a little while Morgan played in the water too. After such a hot session, it was nice to cool off in the San Gabriel river for a few images before sunset.

She's a little bit city, a little bit country, and all heart. I loved spending the day with her and her family, capturing her senior photos.
