Dawn Fry Photo has simplified pricing to meet your needs (excluding Weddings and Senior Sessions- complete price list). Please choose from one of the following:
Session Fees
Family Session $150 (local area only)
- Dawn’s time and talent in your 1-2 hour photo session at an outdoor location
- Up to 5 people
Newborn Session $200
- Dawn’s time and talent in your 2-3 hour photo session in the home
- Blankets, wraps, hats and other materials are provided to offer you a large variety of backgrounds and color schemes
- Book your newborn session before your baby is 2 weeks old and SAVE $100 off your session fee!
Details: A $300 retainer must be paid at the time of booking, can be made by cash, check or credit cards and is non-refundable. Retainer minus the session fee will be credited toward your package or prints when final selection is made. Other charges may apply for locations outside my area or groups larger than 5 people. Rescheduling for weather or sick children is completely understood, but please try to notify me 24-48 hours in advance. Sessions may take place at a favorite outdoor location or in your home. I prefer to shoot with natural light, so all in home locations must be pre-approved.
How do we ORDER?
Dawn Fry Photo is thrilled to announce that I am now offering In-Person Viewing and Ordering Sessions for all of my Portrait Sessions!! Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we will schedule a time to view your images and place your order. Your Ordering Session will be scheduled in your home or at a public location and will take anywhere from 1-2 hours. Print Collections, Digital Collections, and a la carte purchases are available. Payment for your prints and products must be received in full at the time of the order. Payments may be made by cash, check or credit card.

THE SHOOT:
My photography centers around preserving the times in life that you never want to forget. I come to your home or favorite location, fade into the background and capture your playtime. I document your life, for real, with no silly props or stiff poses. (ok, maybe some cute hats for the newborns…) I get down on the ground, roll around in the dirt and play with your kids as I photograph them. We laugh, we smile and we have fun!
My style of photography involves capturing the essence of the child or family. I want you and your child to be as relaxed and comfortable as possible. Sessions may run anywhere from 1-3 hours and allow plenty of time for breaks, wardrobe changes and feedings. I prefer shots to be as natural and spontaneous as possible. I encourage my clients to play, interact and basically forget that I am even there. I feel that the best pictures are those that are truly “in the moment”. Family portraits will require some posing and arrangement, but I do strive for a natural look with these as well. I prefer to book sessions in the morning or late afternoon as those times provide the most pleasing light.
Once a session is booked, you will receive a welcome packet with all the information you need regarding wardrobe and preparation for the shoot. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.
